Quick question: why is 44.127/16 listed as "No Country" on the portal? How
are the subnet allocations different from allocations that belong under a
specific country?

It's "No Country" because there's no "Misc/Special".
I use it for allocations that span several other regions or
don't fit into a single region. It also has some legacy
stuff in it.
