I've run several proxies for years, but for this
new venture, I will
have to go over to the proxy software that was mentioned here
yesterday. Should free up a bit of RAM to do so, Java is a hog! :)
The Java proxy server requires 25-30 MB of memory for each instance, which can run 1
proxy.
The C version I wrote uses about 2.5 MB of memory to run 200 proxies and 10 relays in a
single process.
