Although I wanted to provide a freely accessible demo for ALL ham operators as an configuration example on an EdgeRouter, I'm starting to have my doubts.
Especially to w6ray...
What is the use of hanging on a router web interface for 24h now? What new information could it give you by watching its interface?

Marius, I have sent the following email to you directly. This one is for the public:
Marius,
First, my apologies! I did not realize that the connection was continuous. Had I, I would have stopped the browser. I had been looking around hoping to find examples to configure my ERX and had to step away from the computer. It is because you spend so much of your personal time to help others that I purchased an EdgeRouter X and have been trying to get my gateway back online. If there are more static examples as to how I can route the traffic for myself to my packet computer (A Pi 3B), please direct me to them. Hopefully from the "outside" of 44net. I have been meaning to ask a question on the list, but someone else seems to have the same one and asks first.
Second, please don't let the oversight of one take something valuable away from others. I am truly sorry!!
Ray, no harm done, it just seemed odd... I overreacted, sorry..
I just updated the router to EdgeOS 2.0.1 and it is still working :-)
I think this is what you are looking for...
http://www.yo2loj.ro/hamprojects/Ampr_ER_SetupInfo.txt
In the download, just replace the packet with the one for ER-X.
I would recommend to try it on FW 1.10.8 first...
I have no ER-X, but it should be just the same as on the ER Lite. Just the binary is different because it's a different processor (mips64 on the Lite, mipsle on the X).
Maybe Pete, VE2PF reads this and has some hints, since he is trying to get the same thing up and running.

Ok. I reviewed the ER setup instruction and found an error. Updated/corrected...
It seems that FW 2.0.1 has some issues on starting scrips, so that ampr-ripd is started before the tunnel is up (rc.local is not run after startup is complete).
So please use 1.10.9.

Meaning what? You've updated the story so many times it's not's clear what is the right combination anymore. - Brian

Sorry Brian for this mess and that is the story for now :-)
I updated all packages on the server with corrections so they work on 1.10.x and 2.0.x Edgerouter firmwares.
Just following the steps as written in
http://www.yo2loj.ro/hamprojects/Ampr_ER_SetupInfo.txt
should get it running...

Hi all,
After a long break (house move, baby etc) I am getting a gateway up again at 79.77.173.61. I am a bit rusty so I apologise for any strange traffic whilst I get sorted.

I am at a stand still with the project as I got a heavy load of work and at the same time received every parts I needed to build a radioberry.
Still reading the messages on the mailing list. Just lack some time ;-)
