Hi Marc,
If you can reach the HTTP server then you will be able to reach the HTTPS server unless
something your end (your ISP?) is blocking it.
Just logged onto the server:
[chris@portal ~]# uptime
10:34:06 up 12 days, 43 min, 0 users, load average: 0.04, 0.01, 0.00
It’s been up and running since I last had to reboot after some patches I applied.
I also monitor the services remotely, from a completely different network using Nagios and
there have been no outages in the HTTP or HTTPS service since the reboot.
So a bit of a mystery for you :-)

Chris

Hello,
I cannot access
https://portal.ampr.org from 2 different commercial internet providers
(e.g. not 44net).
It seems that I can connect to the http version, which redirects to the httpS version.
Does anybody else have this problem?
