Hi there
Long ago the AMPRNET was defined that both IP PID 94 and 4 was working ?
What is situation today ? will it work with PID94 ?
if possible may someone explain why we moved to PID4 ? as at this period I wasnt active with the AMPRNet
Thanks for any info

2) Why there is no option to add attachment (or graphics ) to the list ? is it because of Disk space ? etc ?
from time to time it is usefull to have a screen capture of log of network related issues

1. UDPIP (UDP encapsulation to port 94) isn't implemented in the router nor the portal. I don't know about other software. It might be useful where ISPs are blocking IPIP encapsulated packets. It has few other advantages.
2. The list has over 500 subscribers. I feel that filling up 500 people's mailboxes with something that only one or two people are going to look at is bad manners. List postings are limited to 32k bytes to keep messages short. 32k is a lot of text. You can always mail directly to the person who wants to see your screen capture or log entries. - Brian

Additionally, one can use a picture upload service or pastebin for anything public and bigger than this.
