I'd personally suggest OpenVPN Access Server. There's a straightforward web GUI to setup everything. I think DHCP/Layer 2 requires Windows clients.

FYI - it's free for 2 licenses, and there's no restrictions on how many you can run. Given your use case is not clear if you are doing this for just yourself or others - I'm not sure if 2 licenses will suffice.
