I did an upgrade of my OpenWRT device to LEDE 17.01.0. At this time, everything is operation as before; except that I cannot execute the ampr-ripd from the CLI or the scripts that worked in the previous versions.
I'm suspecting it may be missing dependencies; but while I troubleshoot, I am only accessible from the Global Internet.
If anyone else is interested in upgrading and troubleshooting, I would ask that you make a copy of a list of all your installed packages prior to upgrading. In addition, please make an archive of your config before and after your upgrade.

Hi Lynwood,
If you use a pre-1.15 ampr-ripd version, try to add the '-r' parameter.
Ampr-ripd has no dependencies except libc...

The LEDE Forum informed me I may have to recompile ampr-ripd.

Since I know such an undertaking is of interest to many, please let me know if you want one for your OS.
I plan to set up a fresh machine capable of compiling for:
- Linux Intel x64 - LEDE MIPS Atheros 71xx - any available cross compile toolchain from the OpenWRT or LEDE developer site

Hi, I've been getting ampr-ripd onto my TPlink router. For that I've done OpenWRT makefiles for amprd and ampr-ripd here: https://github.com/rufty/ampr-openwrt I'm set up to build for TPlink WR2543 and OpenWRT for RaspberryPi. Can do others, but not test!
