All, Like the subject says. I've noticed I'm getting a RIP update from 81.174.253.193 which contains only a few of the major subnets in our nework. Anyone got a clue as to whom this is and why they are sending them? Thanks Mark

All, Like the subject says. I've noticed I'm getting a RIP update from 81.174.253.193 which contains only a few of the major subnets in our nework. Anyone got a clue as to whom this is and why they are sending them? Thanks Mark

I too am getting it. Whoever owns it needs to check settings but in this case it is looking for 44.131.160.1 on my sytem 10:53:08.014251 IP 81.174.253.193 > 192.168.1.150: IP 44.131.160.1.520 > 224.0.0.9.520: RIPv2, Response, length: 504 (ipip-proto-4) 10:53:08.349824 IP 192.168.1.150 > 81.174.253.193: IP 44.135.90.2 > 44.131.160.1: ICMP time exceeded in-transit, length 36 (ipip-proto-4) Someone has an error somewhere pointing at the wrong place... Going to www.teqsys.net and looking at the Orange tab, there is the callsign G7UOD for "Hugh Golding". There is an email address for him on QRZ too. --David
