I got the ip from ampr.org but can't send traffic to the ip so I searched the mailing list and found the answer from Brian Kantor.
In order for traffic from the internet to reach your host through a tunnel from UCSD, it must be registered in the ampr.orghttp://ampr.org DNS. There are no entries in the DNS for 44.158.158.x. If you would like me to add some, please send me private email off-list of the hostnames and addresses you want added.
https://mailman.ardc.net/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/44net@mailman.ampr.org/mes...
I need to register in the ampr.org DNS as follows.

In December 2021 the DARC received a grant from ARDC to fix the bugs in the Linux ax25 kernel modules and implementation. What is the status of it, does anybody know? ARDC points to www.linux-ax25.org but that site is not up for many months, although the owners of linux-ax25.org are still paying for it. I also can't find anything at the DARC website about it.

I had a bit of a dig around and it seems like the contributions related to this grant are submitted & discussed on the linux kernel netdev mailing list. They make their way into the kernel from there.
You can find the contributions from Thomas Osterried (the grant recipient) here: https://marc.info/?a=104498142500004&r=1&w=2
Cheers,

I had gotten curious about the various patches and incorporation as well, seems kernel 6.1 has the biggest fix for me at least..axip and axudp sockets appear to now work without going away. I've tried 6.4 RC2 and it also works well...now running kernel 6.1 on my pi server and it's purring happily along with no patches needed here..running 6.4 on my desktop currently and it also appears to work well...glad to see the fixes...
Cheers, de John

Thanks Peter,
Very good information and that search engine for multiple lists is also very handy.
