Charles, thank you for confirming muy membership in the group.
I am very interested in using a ham radio to connect to the internet.
What equipment do I need and what do I need to do?

I would say head to https://www.ampr.org/ and check out the wiki, but
it appears there's a database connection error (at least for me). Once
this is fixed, there's a helpful wiki that should get you started.
