Kind if wondering the status of this myself.
Perhaps the easiest would be to amend the present email robot to ask for a username and password field (kind of how the old gateways robot worked) so the end user can edit their own entries?
Hi there How do I update the AMPR.ORG DNS records ? The Portal write that the web page that there is a test and records will not apear in the real AMPR.ORG zone file and the email system i used to sent updates to reply with error Please advice Thanks Forward Ronen - 4Z4ZQ http://www.ronen.org
As a coordinator, any records I enter are "waiting for co-ordinator".
One of my delegates tried to submit a record and got a Server 500 error.
It's been like this for at least 3 months.

Everything now has to be done via the portal// The email system has been eliminated.

That is false. The portal DNS function is not operational; all DNS updates must still be done via the email robot. - Brian
Since there are new gateway ops and coordinators over the past few years, it might be a good idea for a tutorial on the email robot system while the portal is being worked on.

Does anyone know who is the ham radio that wrote the code inside the CISCO routers IOS that deal with KA9Q Tunneling ? I used to have his email long ago but cant find it anymore Any clue welcome Thanks Forward Ronen - 4Z4ZQ http://www.ronen.org

If I remember correctly, the KA9Q tunneling uses IP protocol 94 (IPIP) for the tunnel transport. The current mesh implementation uses IP protocol 4 (IP-ENCAP) for the same purpose, which makes it incompatible.
