Hi,
44.190.11.0/24 is online, too :-)
BGP announcement is done from a Vultr VPS in Paris. Configuration is
straightforward : it's an iBGP session with their BGP host. We don't
have to bother with the millions of entries of a full Internet routing
table. For $5/month, this should make BGP affordable and easy to use for
everybody.
Then, we have a GRE tunnel to forward traffic to our main data center in
Corsica. For now, the main gateway is pinging at 44.190.11.1. More to
follow :-)
We still have many things to do before we can start the migration of our
current network (using private addressing and NAT). We'll use
44.190.11.0/24 for our DMZ, ie machines that require direct access from
Internet (Web, XLX, DStar, DMR, etc...), and we'll use 44.168 subnet for
"internal" network (access only from TKNet, HAMNets or AMPRNet).
Thank you all, 73 de TK1BI
