Hi Thomas,
Address verifications are being prioritised for BGP requests, if you haven’t put in a request for BGP address space yet that’s why your address verification will not have been processed. If you are after BGP address space then by all means place a request.

I'm not seeing a way to denote that my address verification request is in pursuit of a BGP allotment. Is there some way to do that? I've had my address verification ticket pending unassigned since April 6, and don't have enough LoT points to even attempt to put in a BGP allotment request (or at least I couldn't the last time I tried, there could have been a change recently to that flow). I had previously been under the assumption that address verification hadn't started yet, so I'd been sorta just patiently waiting my turn.
I know everyone on the AMPR side is super busy, and my request isn't urgent, just wondering.

Hi Razvan,
Your request is not stuck on postal address verification, there were some other issues that I asked you about, I can see that you responded a couple of weeks ago so you will get a reply soon, we are processing tickets in order of oldest first, so it is fair to everyone. BGP requests can take weeks to process so please can I ask you to be patient a little longer and we will get there.
Thanks,

For some non-US locations it is nearly impossible. Tickets and any associated documents are completely deleted when they are acted upon. The team is very paranoid of leaving any personally identifiable information laying around in a database somewhere. — Dave K9DC, K9IP On May 12, 2024, at 08:58, Cara Salter via 44net <44net@mailman.ampr.org mailto:44net@mailman.ampr.org> wrote: On 5/12/24 08:03, femsci via 44net wrote: Several weeks ago I requested postal address verification via the new portal, however it is still set as new (unassigned). Interesting -- my address verification ticket was approved (from what I can tell) on the same day. Slight tangent -- is there a way to view resolved tickets? When I go to Tickets -> View My Tickets there's nothing listed. 73, Cara KC1KZT _______________________________________________ 44net mailing list -- 44net@mailman.ampr.org mailto:44net@mailman.ampr.org To unsubscribe send an email to 44net-leave@mailman.ampr.org mailto:44net-leave@mailman.ampr.org _______________________________________________ 44net mailing list -- 44net@mailman.ampr.org mailto:44net@mailman.ampr.org To unsubscribe send an email to 44net-leave@mailman.ampr.org mailto:44net-leave@mailman.ampr.org
Hello all, Chris,
Does somebody know how the Postal Address is being verified?
I'm having a BGP request opened since ~1 month ago and I know that we're stuck in the "Postal Address Verification".
I tried to search on the KB/Wiki, but I didn't find something relevant (like some steps).

Hello Chris,
Thanks a lot for your response! Acknowledged.
Yes, I'm going to wait until the moment :). I just wanted to see if the Postal Verification it's a long-process since here in Romania, our Postal Services are a complete mess. We're receiving International Mail with a 2-3 month delay.
I completely agree, we must wait until each turn, I was going through all the emails this week and saw Lynwood's post about the 20 tickets that he has opened. I just wanted to say that I only have 2, and the same sittuation, so we just have to wait :).
Have a great Sunday ahead y'all.
