Hi guys,
Sorry for the alert, but when I rebooted both my router and Linuxbox (Slackware 13.37 with kernel 2.6.37.6) RIP is back on now!
I was confused because I could ping many hosts, but not all and also because my ip at the portal was correct.

There may be a problem on the amprgw resolving dynamic IPs as broadcast targets.
Just a note: amprgw uses the encap file, where dynamic IPs have already been resolved from the hostname by the portal hourly process. It fetches and loads the encap file once an hour. It does not separately attempt to resolve hostnames to IP addrs. - Brian _________________________________________ 44Net mailing list 44Net@hamradio.ucsd.edu http://hamradio.ucsd.edu/mailman/listinfo/44net
