No trying to poo-poo this but we'd really need specific info from your inside guy on what is wrong on our end. We know it's not the top level robots.txt, so what is the issue? Seriously how are we supposed to figure it out, when its google's crawl rules. Till we better understand what they are, what are you proposing we do?
