I don't see much a need for the user to register depending on the situation. You should make as much info available to the end user as possible without registering. That is the info about the city (area) and who is responsible for that gateway- call/Name, etc With the call/name they can find us at qrz.com or google. You should direct more to the gateway operator as we are are running those gateways in the first place. People have a need for info about how to run gateways, jnos, linux and it is the gateway operators who can help. I receive a lot of questions about this and I help a lot of people.
Also a lot or maybe some of the gateways operators can already issue new 44 addresses for their own gateways (I can) so it should be good if the user can contact us.
We are often in a much better position to help that new user without waiting.

Network Country Region Allocated to 44.151.67.22/16 FR Alsace F6EQN [Michel BELLEZIT]
Yes, I saw that and corrected it to a /32 Actually there were two and both were corrected.
Furtheremore, on his website, F5PBG invites all french users to register individually their IP on the "ampr.org" website. This will induce a lot of useless declarations.
We are encouraging everyone that uses addresses in the 44/8 range to register - especially end users as they are the ones actually sending and receiving data from/to the IP(s) in question and need to be held accountable for their use.
