Hi there Im trying to debug why one of our hams dont have tunnel up an running (or actually why one day it stopped working for him ) I suspect there are a routing problem from UCSD side to his ISP I wrote Brian mail asking to login to the UCSD HAM router and make a trace route to this local ham so i can track the problem
Who can help me now ? is there anyone that have the ability to login and make trace route maybe Chris ? or any other solution ? The MikroTik Router he have declare that no route to UCSD and the tunnel status is down but from the router side ping can be done to UCSD ham router
Is there any chance to do a web interface on UCSD Router that will give the option to the users to make trace route from there to a certain destination using the 44 and the non 44 interface ?

This sounds like a firewall sending icmp host unreachable. Is protocol 4 allowed?

However I did look at the errors log at:

Lots of errors dropped: non-44 inner source address from:

If you or anyone else recognizes those as your public IP's, you should look at your setup

That does sound useful. I downloaded and searched all the available mailman archives and very little clues as to the login. I guess if we never had one then we never will, as it is not tied to current portal? I joined the portal sometime 2013 but did not request allocation or join the list until late 2017.
Quick question on these stat pages: That web page asks for:
Use your gateway owner username and password
What username/password is this? Is this the portal username/password?

as for the gateway Ip im willing to share it but didnt thought that it interested all however this is the network i talk about 44.138.0.8 / 29 4X5MG AMPRNET Test I can provide the non ampr ip although it can extracted from the portal the Router listen there on the commercial IP and supposed to answer pings
I can also provide Traceroute from the router there to anywhere needed

Yes the outside address 31.44.137.3 does respond to pings. And I don't see that address in any of the error logs, so its not bouncing the periodic ipip rip packets, so it seems to be accepting ipip.
But you are correct, I can't get a ping reply to 44.138.0.8 from my ampr ip or from the internet. So I'd say things are reaching the commercial ip of your gateway, but something is misconfigured after that point.

Steve May you be kind and make a traceroute from UCSD Router to the Commercial IP of this gateway to see the nodes it passes throug ?
