A gateway had his internet address change yesterday and the new address was changed to the new address at the gateway successfully..
We've noticed that the RIP process has the correct address but the encap.txt file does not.
Is there a problem at the gateway with the way it is handling the encap.txt file when data is changed? It appears that the old file is sent and not the new one..

Hi Don,
It is the portal (https://portal.ampr.org) that handles the encap.txt file now, RIP gets it's data from the portal, so I could imagine how the reverse situation could occur, but not the one you describe.
Where are you obtaining the encap.txt file from? i.e. FTP? Email?
Thanks, Chris

Hi... I am having a problem with the encap.txt files; getting an older version rather than the latest issue. I get these files using FTP. And its always worked perfectly for years.. Now I get an older version each time I try and get a new encap.txt file.
