Those of us who have been involved in this arena for over 30 years
know that Bdale Garbee, KB0G, is not only one of the most technically
astute leaders we have had in the hobby, but is an honorable and very
respected individual.
I fully support his selection.

New subject: Another new board member...
Having been around the block for 25 years myself, and as a Linux partner
developer, I couldn't agree more. While I've never had the pleasure of
meeting bdale, his credentials speak for themselves.
