hello, is there a path/routing to the central european hamnet, eg 44.130.x.x from the rest of 44.x.x.x? 73 de stefan, ei4ku
They are on the IPIP mesh.

Yes, 44.130.0.0/16 is accessible via the IPIP mesh, together with the 44.148.0.0/15 network sharing the same gateway, with some smaller gateways offering direct IPIP endpoints for their own subnets in the 44.130.224.0/19 segment.

hi, thank you for prompt response: now i know what i have to read next. my apologies, i didn't make the mental connection with the ipip discussions i read here lately, thinking it did not apply to us in 44.155. 73 de stefan ei4ku
For best connectivity it is advisable to route the networks you announce on internet BGP on the IPIP mesh as well. E.g. by making the internet router run the IPIP configuration (including ampr-ripd) alongside the BGP routing.
Then you can route towards Germany over the IPIP mesh while still having direct routing to internet for other addresses.
