Hello Janusz,
I thought you got this working a long time ago. No? I know you had changed the PCI card out once but I think the new card still used the same serial chip. Correct? If so, you need to see if you can find a serial card with a DIFFERENT serial chip. If you never did get it working with either card, I would suspect the PCI serial card not being fully 16550 compatible. It's a known fact that those old serial-attach Baycom modems do unique things with the serial port signalling to make the TNC work. I also have noticed that the BayCom website has been stripped of all it's content.
To confirm, the serial card you have is this one:
wch_ch353_2s1p :: I see there were some specific changes made in Sept, 2012 which is probably NOT included in a Centos5 - 2.6.18-274 kernel http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-serial/msg06964.html

Does anyone know what happened to: ampr.org portal??
Janusz:
I'm not sure. I just checked and I can't bring it up either.
As I run several servers myself, I can say sometimes unexpected downtime / crashes / power outages happen.
Most likely they know the server is down and are working to bring it up.
I'd give it at least 24 hours. If the server is not up by then, I'm sure a message will be posted here.
Hope the weather is nice there in Poland. It's been 100+ degrees (Fahrenheit) here in sunny California :)
