Does a version of jnos exist that is stripped of all it's networking code thus just offering the the bbs parts?

A tunnel can be used to create a virtual interface between linux networking and jnos, using your regular ampr ipip tunneling system on one side and jnos on the other.

I'm aware that a tunnel can be created to link for instance linux and jnos. more of what I'm thinking is a stripped version of jnos where it acts as a kind of unescapable shell with tty interface - no networking, just bbs. in such a case the base os would handle login authentication and all networking then simply allocate a tty to the session.
