Hi Bob, There is one central database that all forms of the encap file are generated from. No, you just download the latest version present. I meant whenever you request it from the portal. There is a cron job that runs every 5 minutes that checks for changes and will update the encap.txt file in the FTP directory. It only updates it if something has changed. There is another cron job that runs once an hour that resolves any hostnames present to IP addresses. So worst case, the IP address of the gateway could be an hour out of date via FTP. These are read directly from the database, so reflect the database contents pretty much realtime. Regards, Chris
